PAINT is a collection of watercolours and reflections, inspired by the unfolding pattern of the seasons. It is a journal, which captures the extraordinary detail in nature, the little things that make every day unique.

I have lived in the countryside for nearly twenty years, in a small hamlet where the only amenities are a red post box, two decommissioned churches and a tangle of fruitful blackberry bushes.

Over that time, while tending our wilful garden, I’ve become increasingly aware, that the more I put down my tools, pause and properly look, the more nature has to reveal.

My response to what I see, is instinctively to put paint on paper. My hope, is that the resulting images in this book have harnessed my excitement and preserved it for others to enjoy.
